Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs? A mixed primary and secondary SEN School in Blackpool is seeking a Teacher to join their team on an agency basis, supporting a Year 11 class with mixed abilities and a variety of SEN needs, including ASD and SEMH needs.
Ideally, the school is hoping to appoint a fully qualified teacher with experience working with Specialist Provision; however, they have said they are open-minded regarding the applicants as to whether they are ECTs, RQTs, and/or experienced FQTs. You would be working within a secondary class; however, the school has said an individual with primary experience would be considered due to the cohort.
Within this role, you would be working closely with support assistants within class and appropriately adapting the medium-term plans for the needs of the children in class. Each learner’s individual needs are taken into consideration when learning, which ensures all the needs of every child are effectively met.
The Role:
Position: SEN Teacher (Year 10/11).
Location: Mixed primary and secondary SEN School, Blackpool, FY3.
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:45 AM – 3:45 PM).
Duration: Until Easter, with potential for extension and a permanent opportunity.
Pay: Competitive.
