Job summary

Aspire People Manchester is recruiting Primary ECTs for November 2026 long-term supply across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in South Manchester. Start on supply to build confidence, explore schools, and gain varied experience before seeking a permanent role.

You will be supported by a dedicated Aspire People consultant, with access to CPD and a pathway to longer-term opportunities in friendly, nurturing environments.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending for Summer 2026.
• Passion for primary education and willingness to learn.
• Flexible, proactive, and nurturing teaching approach.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply assignments.
• Be supported by a dedicated Aspire People consultant throughout your journey.
• Experience a wide range of school settings.

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for a November long term full time role?

Aspire People Manchester is inviting passionate and ambitious Primary ECTs to begin their journey on supply from November 2026 across a wide range of Infant, Junior, and Primary schools in South Manchester.

Starting your career on supply is one of the most effective ways to rapidly build confidence, refine your teaching practice, and explore different school environments. You'll gain invaluable experience across Early Years, KS1, and KS2 while discovering the settings and year groups where you truly excel - all before committing to a permanent role.
