Job summary
Running Point Recruitment is seeking an Ecommerce Commercial Assistant for a fast-growing consumer brand near Cambridge. You will support the commercial performance of a portfolio of products across online marketplaces, analysing data to identify opportunities and help improve sales and profitability.
Ideal candidates have a commercial mindset with comfort using numbers, good Excel/Sheets skills, and an interest in revenue, cost and margin.
Qualifications
- Commercial mindset and ability to interpret data to drive sales.
- Experience with ecommerce, digital marketing, or retail is helpful.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of projects.
Responsibilities
- Monitor sales, traffic, conversion, pricing, margins and overall performance.
- Analyse product and marketplace data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support pricing, promotions and seasonal trading activity.
- Assist with planning and delivering new product launches.
- Monitor competitors and market trends.
- Support product content, SEO and online visibility.
- Understand how digital advertising influences sales.
- Collaborate with content, advertising, stock and product teams.
- Produce regular reports and turn data into practical recommendations.
