Are you an Ecommerce Merchandiser with a passion for online retail and product merchandising? If you have experience managing ecommerce stores, optimising sales, and working with Shopify, we’d love to hear from you.

At Play Sports Network (PSN), we are dedicated to providing an exceptional online experience for our global community of cycling and sports enthusiasts. As a key member of our team, you’ll help shape and manage the day-to-day operations of our online stores, working across well-loved brands like Global Cycling Network (GCN), Global Mountain Bike Network (GMBN), Global Tri Network (GTN), and Electric Mountain Bike Network (EMBN).

This is a stand-alone role which will give you the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in all aspects of ecommerce, from product development and merchandising to analytics and strategic planning, all while leading the continued success and growth of our online presence.

Ecommerce & Conversion Optimisation
  • Collaborate with the internal team to identify and implement strategies that improve sales and enhance customer engagement on our Shopify stores.
  • Optimise website performance through SEO, understanding key traffic sources such as video content, email marketing, social media, PPC, and affiliate marketing.
  • Track and monitor KPIs, ensuring targets are met, and continuously develop plans to improve ecommerce performance.
Merchandising & Product Management
  • Oversee the merchandising of our online stores, working with designers and videographers to create visually engaging banners, images, and promotions.
  • Manage the product range, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and share insights on product performance to support future product development.
Supply Chain & Fulfillment
  • Coordinate with our supply chain teams to ensure that products are delivered on schedule, in line with marketing initiatives and key selling periods.
  • Work closely with the fulfillment and customer service teams to ensure that customer experience remains a top priority.
Customer Retention & Marketing
  • Lead the execution of targeted email campaigns to retain and engage customers, helping to grow our loyal fan base.
  • Ensure that all online stores are up-to-date across languages and currencies, creating a seamless shopping experience for our global audience.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, including managing online stores, optimising sales, and working with Shopify.
  • An understanding of ecommerce technology and experience with content management systems.
  • Experience in SEO, online merchandising, and conversion optimisation.
  • A solid background in supply chain management, with experience in working with third-party suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in Google Analytics and performance tracking tools.
  • A collaborative approach to working with teams, including designers, marketing and development teams.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • A passion for cycling, sports, or active lifestyles is highly valued, but not essential.
