About the Role

To drive our growth in ecommerce, we are looking for an Ecommerce Account Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for increasing online sales across key ecommerce accounts such as Ocado, Grocery Marketplaces, Pureplay Accounts, and 3rd Party Retailers. Your expertise in digital sales and account management will help build strong relationships, optimize listings, and develop strategies to enhance our online presence and revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, serve as the main contact, ensure smooth operations, resolve issues, and collaborate with internal teams to align initiatives.
  2. Sales Strategy & Planning: Create and execute sales plans, promotional campaigns, and product launches. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive.
  3. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data, provide reports to management, forecast demand, and track KPIs.
  4. Product Listings & Content Optimization: Oversee product listing quality, collaborate with marketing for branding, and ensure a seamless customer journey.
  5. Promotions & Campaigns: Plan and manage promotional activities and campaigns for maximum engagement.
  6. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Work with supply chain teams to manage stock levels and ensure timely delivery.
  7. Team Collaboration & Training: Support internal teams and train junior staff on ecommerce best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience in ecommerce sales, account management, or digital sales, preferably in pet, FMCG, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record managing key ecommerce accounts (e.g., Ocado, grocery marketplaces, 3P retailers).
  • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central) and analytics tools (Google Analytics).
  • Understanding of SEO, content optimization, and online advertising (PPC, social media).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
