Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking an Ecologist on a 12-month maternity cover, approx. 4 days per week (0.8 FTE).

The role delivers ecological planning advice for a district/borough within Warwickshire, with opportunities to support the Warwickshire Biological Record Centre and conduct ecological surveys for project work. You will join a dedicated team of ecological officers and landscape professionals, contributing to the Warwickshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy and broader biodiversity

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ecological planning advice.
• Background in ecology relevant to planning and development.
• Understanding of biodiversity markets and local nature strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ecological planning advice for a district/borough within Warwickshire.
