A leading company is seeking an experienced ecological project manager to oversee medium to large-scale ecological projects. The role involves delivering conservation programmes and managing habitat techniques while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. This is a full-time, on-site position in Salisbury with a government client.

Job description

Location: Salisbury – full-time on-site

Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: 3 months
Clearance: DBS/SC preferred

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience in managing medium to large-scale ecological projects.
2. Experience in delivering conservation and ecology programmes through the use of volunteers.
3. Experience with specific habitat management techniques.
4. Strong understanding of legislation relating to Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Special Protection Area (SPA), and Special Area of Conservation (SAC).
5. Experience of land management operations, best practices, and their impact on Facilities Management.
