Job summary

ipeglobal is seeking an Ecologist in Brighton to join a supportive team. You will undertake protected species surveys, prepare PEAs and ecological reports, and support BNG assessments across diverse projects.

The role requires an ecology qualification, consultancy experience, and a full UK driving licence. A hybrid work setup and ongoing CPD opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant ecology/environmental qualification.
• Previous ecological consultancy experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and ecological reports.

• Supporting project delivery from fieldwork through to reporting.
