Commercial Manager (Motor)

Edinburgh preferred (Ideally a few times a week in the office but open to candidates further afield)

Up to GBP60k (Flex for the right candidate) + Exceptional benefits

Our client is looking for a Commercial Manager within their Motor Insurance division.

This isn't your typical Commercial management role. This will be more than just managing trade plans or forecast numbers. They are looking for a bridge-builder - someone who can connect the dots between underwriters and brokers, someone who speaks fluent data and insight, and someone who's focused on improving performance.

You'll be the driving force behind Motor Insurance products, helping steer the commercial roadmap in a way that benefits both customers business. It's a role for someone who's hungry to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement, and make decisions rooted in solid data. It's a brand-new role so offers the opportunity to shape, influence and evolve it.

What you will bring:

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in the personal lines insurance market (Motor ideal, but open to others)
• Experience working across both underwriter & broker is essential
• A natural connector who thrives on collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders
• Highly analytical with a sharp eye for data trends - you love digging into numbers, spotting trends, and turning insight into action
• Experience in performance management, forecasting, and post-implementation reviews
• Knowledge of risk and controls in a regulated environment
