Volunteer: Donor Database Manager - This is a remote role (within the US)

WeVote has an open volunteering position for a Donor Database Manager (2-5 hours per week) who wants to use their existing skills and learn new skills, while helping strengthen American Democracy. This position will manage our ongoing use of Hubspot and support the team in identifying potential funding opportunities from foundations, corporate giving programs, and philanthropic institutions. This role is essential to expanding our funding pipeline and connecting with grantmakers supporting civic engagement, voter education, digital democracy, and tech-for-good initiatives.

WeVote is a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup and a celebrated Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee. We are a movement of over 100 passionate volunteers building open source mobile technologies that mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. Our goal is to provide a complete voting experience in 8 minutes via our app, "WeVote Ballot Guide." More information is at https://WeVote.US. We are a 100% remote organization.

What You’ll Do

1. Configure Hubspot to match our funding strategy and import data of previous donors.
2. Review and improve profiles of potential funders, including giving history, priorities, eligibility, grant size, deadlines, and contacts.
3. Collaborate with the Donor Relations Project Manager to keep Hubspot updated with prospects, stages, and notes.
4. Align organizational priorities with the Donor Relations Team and upcoming funding needs.

Who You Are: Must Haves

• Availability of at least 2 hours weekly during core team hours (M-F, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. PT), including attendance at the weekly Monday 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. PT Donor Relations meeting.
• Desire to work with an established and successful team committed to strengthening American Democracy.
• Striving for personal excellence and willingness to support other volunteers.
• Currently located in the US with the ability to work 1-2 hours overlapping with US PT hours weekly.

• Additional hours to volunteer beyond the minimum, with other ways to get involved.
