Senior Database Consultant

Why You:

You will support all aspects of database and application infrastructure for our clients, playing a critical role in presales, delivery, consulting, and thought leadership. Your responsibilities include providing client service related to database configuration, administration, troubleshooting, data architecture, problem management, technical oversight, client communication, process improvements, and team mentoring. You may also participate in pre-sales activities and contribute to training and knowledge sharing.

What we need from you:

• Experience with PostgreSQL installation, configuration, and upgrades; administration in virtualized and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Scripting skills (bash/python) and software development experience (C++, Java, Go).
• Automation tools knowledge (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, SALT).
• Remote working experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: understanding of ITIL standards, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.), cloud-native monitoring, PostgreSQL on Kubernetes, HA solutions (Patroni, repmgr), EnterpriseDB solutions, backup tools (Barman, pgBackRest), and experience with database migrations.
