Nationwide is seeking an experienced professional with a potential opportunity to provide all activities related to the administration of database schemas and their objects.Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform database programming and support systems design.
- Project long-range requirements for database schema administration and design in conjunction with Infrastructure DBAs in the information systems function.
- Designs, creates, and maintains database schemas in a client/server environment.
- Conducts quality control and auditing of database schemas in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data and permissions
- Advises users on access to various client/server databases.
- Design, implement, and maintain complex database schema objects concerning user requirements, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
- Apply knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
Qualifications:- Five (5) years of progressive experience with database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.
- At least three years' hands-on experience and expertise in Database Schema management.
- Experience also shall include the ability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages.
- Experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.
- Must possess (Formerly IT-II) Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance and Tier 3 investigation (T3) at time of proposal submission.
