Job Opportunity: Financial Accountant

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. This role involves supporting the preparation of monthly Board reporting, annual budgets, and regular reforecasts. You will also manage tax matters, lead the external audit and statutory accounts process, and drive process and reporting improvements using tech solutions.

You should be technically strong, a confident communicator, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and external partners, so clarity in presenting financial information is key.

Requirements

• ACA qualified with audit experience and up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP
• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines
• Committed team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
• Able to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Effective communication skills in both verbal and written English
• Understanding of the implications of business decisions and awareness of strategic objectives
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, primarily Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Information

• Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum, plus performance incentive scheme
• Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off, increasing to 30 days on length of service
