The Opportunity:
The primary purpose of this role is to help develop International Claims, Management Information and Data Analytics capability including analysis & trending of Internal and External Claims data. The role will be dedicated to supporting the International Claims organisation and work closely with International and North American Claims Teams. The role will report to Head of International Claims Data and Analytics
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic
Proven Insurance Claims experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Subject Matter Expert in multiple lines of business ideally Speciality Insurance
Ability to develop MI Dashboards and Reports that provide insight into performance of the Claims Teams and UW LoBs
Work and collaborate with a team of experts across the Everest business including actuarial, underwriting teams, senior leadership, and boards/committees to research, create and implement Claims Initiatives that deliver tangible value to Everest
Analysis and trending on industries and sectors
Source, analyse, contrast and compare third party data from Lloyd’s, LMA, IUA and other external sources to Everest internal claims data.
Assist the identification and pipeline of Analytic capability including its development
Demonstrable experience of working on Claims Analytics Initiatives moving to a Self Service / Production capability
Operational
Experience of working across and coping with multiple demands and deadlines
Strong understanding of Insurance Claims (process and technology)
Ability to gather, shape and articulate requirements for development at short notice
Exceptional communication skills, Stakeholder Management
Ensure the creation and production of relevant, timely and accurate data/analytics and reporting
Acting as a liaison between the business and its Information Technology Department and between the business and its clients
Lead workshops to deep-dive into areas of complexity to achieve a universal understanding between Stakeholders
Skills & Abilities
Extensive knowledge Claims Data and MI across Speciality Insurance and ideally also London Market
Knowledge of Claims data models processes and technology; will preferably have a long-term background working in an Insurance Company background
Execution focused and a high achiever with a passion for results and the ability to deliver quality report against tight deadlines.
A tenacious work ethic with a focus on detail with the ability to filter large volumes of data looking for the key cases or trends driving the performance and then working with the claims team to review the claims file to pick out the key information.
Strategic thinker, innovative and solution-oriented
Familiarity with emerging Insurance trends and their application in the industry
Exceptional oral and written communication, with the ability to provide concise executive summaries to senior management
Highly collaborative and able to work effectively across the organisation as well as with external stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates respect for the opinions of others

Professional qualifications and experience:
Demonstrable extensive experience in Claims Data and Management Information in a Speciality/P&C insurance environment, preferably in multiple geographies
A degree educated professional
Microsoft Office
Microsoft Power BI experience
SQL coding experience
Experience and knowledge of all Lloyd’s & London market claims processes together with companies market experience
Experience in analyzing claims tends and reporting
Guidewire ClaimsCenter experience beneficial
