Job description

An experienced Property Claims Desk Adjuster with managerial experience is required to join a global Loss Adjusters firm. You will work closely with a team of Desk Claims Handlers and Field Adjusters managing Property Claims up to £100k, which could also involve Major and Complex Losses.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support a team of Desk Claims Handlers and Field Adjusters in collaboration with the Regional team.
  2. Serve as a technical referral point for complex claims.
  3. Assist Field Adjusters by accompanying them on site visits when necessary.
  4. Oversee the operational aspects of claims handling, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to SLA’s and KPI’s.
  5. Mentor team members and identify their training and development needs.

About You

  1. Experience in handling Property Insurance Claims, including Major and complex losses.
  2. Proven management skills with the ability to lead and support a team.
  3. Excellent listening skills and technical knowledge to resolve complex issues.
  4. Experience working closely with Field Adjusters.
  5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including face-to-face interactions.
  6. Industry qualifications or a willingness to study towards them.
  7. Ability to travel as needed for site visits with your team.
  8. A full, clean UK driving license.
