Project Overview:

This project is focused on driving operational and strategic improvements through business process optimization and data-driven decision-making. The Business Analyst will play a key role in gathering requirements, analysing data, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights that support continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong data analytics capabilities. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who can bridge the gap between business objectives and data insights. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with stakeholders to define problems, analyse complex datasets, and deliver solutions that drive efficiency and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis:

Engage with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and opportunities.

Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

Document and map current and future state business processes.

Data Analytics & Insight Generation:

Extract, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources to support business objectives.

Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate key insights.

Conduct trend analysis, root cause analysis, and performance tracking.

Optimization & Decision Support:

Use data to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for process or performance improvement.

Support development of KPIs and metrics to measure success of initiatives.

Collaborate with business units to inform strategy and drive data-based decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with business leaders, product owners, and technical teams to align on goals and deliverables.

Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.

Data Quality & Governance:

Support efforts to improve data quality, accessibility, and governance.

Help define data requirements and validation rules for reporting and analytics initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on data analytics.

Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience with process modelling, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data pipelines.

Experience working in agile environments and using tools like JIRA or Confluence.

Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
