You will support Employment Partner Chris Piggott and work alongside Legal Secretary / Paralegal Alena Dudrah. The role is based in the Birmingham office, with the wider team working from Kidderminster, Worcester, and Telford offices.

You will have the opportunity to shape your experience and expertise, with strong encouragement and support to engage with clients and the wider organisation.

Day-to-day success in this role involves:

The Employment Team seeks a dedicated Legal Secretary. This is an exciting chance to join an established team handling a broad spectrum of cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform secretarial tasks as requested by your Partner, including typing, photocopying, and correspondence.
  • Assist with file management, including openings, closures, and reviews.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and diary entries.
  • Ensure correct storage and retrieval of client documents.
  • Attend to clients on behalf of your fee earner when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a secretarial role within a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of Employment law is beneficial.
  • Dictation and audio typing skills.
  • Organisational and filing skills.
