Equans, a leader in integrated facilities management and sustainability solutions, is seeking a Senior Technical Services Manager to lead the technical service delivery for our prestigious PFI healthcare estate at Tameside General Hospital.
This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished leader in Hard FM ideally with deep PFI and healthcare experience to step into a high-impact role. You will drive compliance, operational excellence, and service innovation while leading a team of Technical Managers, Supervisors, and engineers across a complex and critical estate.
Provide strategic leadership across mechanical, electrical, and building fabric services.
Lead a skilled technical team, ensuring safe systems of work, statutory compliance, and performance excellence.
Act as the key interface between internal FM operations and client stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and high satisfaction.
Deliver on monthly KPIs and contractual obligations, ensuring all services are aligned with HTMs, HBNs, and DoH standards.
Support project and lifecycle delivery across the estate while cultivating a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
Deputise for the Head of Technical when required, playing a key role in senior leadership forums and decision-making.
A seasoned leader with proven experience in managing Hard FM teams within complex environments, ideally in PFI healthcare settings.
Qualifications: ONC/C&G or equivalent in mechanical engineering is essential; IOSH or NEBOSH certification desirable.
Demonstrable experience of risk management, compliance, technical auditing, and HTM/HBN guidance.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead change, mentor teams, and develop lasting client relationships.
