UBDS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with customer-facing skills and hands-on experience to join our Secure Connectivity team. This role plays a pivotal part in client projects and engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy network solutions and enhancements to existing deployments, software, and OS
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across technologies such as Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, HPE Aruba EdgeConnect, SD-WAN, Wired and Wireless LAN, and legacy solutions
• Act as a problem-solver passionate about networking
• Engage with diverse teams, offering opportunities for career growth in a fast-paced environment
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for junior engineers
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical issues and inquiries
• Diagnose and troubleshoot wireless, security, switching, and other network issues
• Manage each customer case from creation to resolution
• Collaborate with support teams to resolve network outages and complex issues
• Work with colleagues and client teams on critical, escalated issues

Requirements

About You

• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network solutions
• Understanding of networking protocols like TCP, STP, Ethernet, OSPF, BGP
• Experience with WiFi network design and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to communicate at all organizational levels
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in computer networking
• Analytical skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Ability to prioritize workloads
• Networking certification: CCNA minimum
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba wired/wireless LAN, EdgeConnect, VMWare SD-WAN, Palo Alto firewalls, and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
