Engineering Support Technician

£36,700 + premium hours rates, overtime, bonus, and generous benefits

Location: Derby

Our Derby-based client is a market leader in providing innovative and bespoke integrated systems, offering services including Project Management, Implementation, Consultancy, and Software Development to blue-chip clients worldwide. Due to continued success and strategic growth, they are seeking to recruit several Engineering Support Technicians to join their established team of electrical and controls engineers.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified to NVQ, C&G, HNC, or above in a relevant electrical, electronic, or controls discipline.
• Able to relocate or based in the East Midlands region.
• Eligible to work in the UK with immediate effect.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Able to attain security clearance for UK airports.
• Willing to travel nationwide and work nights regularly.

Opportunities and Training:

During training, you will develop skills to:

• Design, implement, and test control and integrated systems.
• Program PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function Block, or Statement List methods.
• Configure SCADA software and program using C, C++, C#, VB, and VBA.
• Undertake IP network design and configuration.
• Design and test ELV electrical panels.
