We are working with a large secondary school in the Leeds area who are looking to recruit a Pastoral Support Officer to join their team.

The school is conveniently located close to the M1/M62, meaning that it is easily accessible from a number of locations across the region.

The school are looking for someone who is experienced working in an educational setting, with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On call duties, supporting behaviour management.
  • Lunch and break duties.
  • Supporting heads of year.
  • Managing student issues such as attendance and uniform.
  • Communication with parents and carers.
  • General student support.
  • Liaising with parents when needed to report any issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience using school MIS system (SIMS/Arbor).
  • Two satisfactory references.
  • A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
