You will manage day-to-day account activities, lead press office functions, develop creative campaigns, and build relationships with clients, media, and internal teams. A passion for technology, AI, diversity, and innovation is essential.

You will work closely with clients to understand their goals and develop impactful campaigns, manage media relations, oversee news announcements, and advise on media strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a busy press inbox and respond to inquiries from UK national, consumer, and trade press.
  • Stay informed on news in tech, AI, politics, lifestyle, and culture to inform communications strategies.
  • Build relationships with journalists across UK media sectors and mentor junior team members.
  • Serve as primary client contact, providing media advice and support.
  • Draft press releases, briefing notes, Q&As, statements, and pitches aligned with client voice and strategy.
  • Collaborate on multi-channel campaigns with creative, strategy, analytics, and influence teams.
  • Monitor campaign performance using platforms like Onclusive and Signal AI, and optimize accordingly.
  • Share insights on industry trends, especially Generative AI, with clients and teams.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff and support senior planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, including timesheets and invoicing.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year at Account Manager level.
  • Well-connected with a passion for technology and Corpsumer PR.
  • Strong understanding of consumer and B2B media, including social media trends.
  • Knowledge of political and regulatory trends affecting tech.
  • Excellent writing skills for press releases, toolkits, and pitches.
  • Experience with consumer/B2B tech brands, managing press offices, and campaigns.
  • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Preferred experience in fast-paced agency environments.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships and work under pressure.
  • Creative outlook with a focus on industry developments and technology.

Additional benefits include 25 days annual leave, volunteer days, enhanced parental leave, flexible working hours, wellbeing support, season ticket loans, life assurance, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Ogilvy values diversity and encourages applications from all backgrounds. We support accessible applications and adjustments for candidates with disabilities.
