Bookkeeper / Accounts Semi Senior

Up to £35,000 | No Study Support Provided

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper or Accounts Semi Senior looking to join a supportive, long-established accountancy practice in the heart of London?

We're working with a boutique firm that has been operating for over 50 years and continues to thrive through client referrals and its strong reputation in the property sector. With a team of 20 and a close-knit, flat structure, this firm offers a rare combination of stability, flexibility, and genuine work-life balance.

The Bookkeeper / Accounts Semi Senior Role:

You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, largely in the property investment and development sector. Key duties will include:

• Bookkeeping and preparation of accounts (FRS 102)
• CIS compliance
• VAT returns
• Assisting with management accounts and tax returns

This is a hands-on, client-facing role, ideal for someone confident in their accounting skills and happy to take initiative.

About You:

• Ideally AAT qualified or qualified by experience
• Alternatively, you may be a stop-studier looking for a role with no further exams
• Solid experience in practice (especially within property would be a bonus)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
