Job summary

Encyclis is recruiting an EC&I Technician to perform planned and unplanned maintenance on EC&I, HV/LV assets and systems at the new Walsall ERF site. You will ensure safe, efficient operation and compliance with procedures while supporting outage planning and contractor management.

Role requires 5+ years in a large industrial facility, CMMS knowledge, and experience in EC&I, DCS and CEMS maintenance. On-site work with a strong health and safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: HND or NVQ4/3 in technical subject; other energy recovery/large plant qualifications considered.
• An Electrical/Control/Instrumentation apprenticeship is desirable.
• Ideally 5+ years hands-on experience in a medium to large industrial facility.
• Experience with CMMS, DCS, and CEMS maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and unplanned maintenance, inspections and diagnostics on EC&I, HV/LV assets and systems.
• Plan, coordinate and execute planned outages for EC&I scope.
• Manage and supervise EC&I contractors during outages and peak maintenance periods.
