RWE Generation UK is seeking a skilled electrical engineer to operate HV/LV systems in hydro-electrical plants, ensuring safe switching and adherence to procedures. You will lead maintenance tasks, review isolation records and manage contractor work to meet safety and budget targets.

The role requires a recognised electrical qualification, strong planning and coordination skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours. Driving licence is essential, with SAP/SCADA knowledge desirable.

Qualificações

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Ability to plan and control own work and small team to high safety standards.
• Experience in process/engineering environment, ideally power generation.
• Experience with fault-finding under controlled conditions and safe isolation procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Operate HV and LV electrical systems safely per schedules and procedures.
• Carry out maintenance, inspections, testing and condition assessments on switchgear, transformers and protection systems.
• Manage tools, equipment and spares in serviceable condition.
• Provide asset-specific technical knowledge to Operations and Maintenance team.
• Create, manage and deliver electrical work scopes during outages.
• Manage contractors and supervise their work.
• Be available for standby rota for out-of-hours calls.
