Job summary

TÜV SÜD in the United Kingdom is seeking an EC&I Technician to maintain and support electrical infrastructure on site at East Kilbride. You will manage and test 415V equipment, coordinate contractors, and keep detailed documentation up to date.

The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, commissioning support, and ensuring all safety and engineering standards are met on established plant and facilities.

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical/Instrumentation apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.
• Proven hands-on experience with 415V equipment, motors and control panels.
• Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience on established plant or facilities.
• AutoCAD skills to produce and maintain electrical drawings and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Work hands-on with 415V three-phase equipment including motors, starters, isolators, distribution boards and control panels.
• Fault finding across electrical systems, instrumentation, PLCs and HMIs.
• Produce and update electrical drawings, schematics and P&IDs in AutoCAD with accurate as-built records.
• Maintain asset records, panel schedules, test records and maintenance documentation.
• Support commissioning of new installations; test, witness and document installations.
