Syngenta Crop Protection seeks a Control & Electrical Engineering Technician to support the Huddersfield Manufacturing Centre. You will plan and perform maintenance on EC&I systems, calibrate instruments and work with SAP/CMMS to minimise downtime and improve reliability.

The role is site-based, typically 07:50–15:30, with overtime as required to meet operational needs, and you will collaborate with operations, asset teams and in-house contractors to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.

Formación

• On-site apprentice-trained EC&I or Instrumentation technician with safety focus.
• Strong knowledge of control, instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Experience using SAP/CMMS for maintenance data and record-keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver planned, preventive and breakdown maintenance on EC&I equipment.
• Diagnose faults, calibrate instruments, and implement first-line fixes.
• Interpret schematics and drawings to support testing and installation.
• Support reliability projects and improvements with operations teams.
• Maintain records in SAP/CMMS and coordinate safe work with contractors.
