Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection is seeking a skilled maintenance planning engineer to join our Huddersfield area team. You will plan and scope detailed work packages for routine maintenance and planned outages across electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and civil disciplines.

Based at our on-site facility in the UK, you will coordinate with Asset Engineers and contractors, run project schedules using SAP PM and Primavera, and ensure safety and production requirements are met while delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in maintenance planning or engineering in process industries.
• Experience planning across electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, or civil disciplines.
• Experience in shutdowns, turnarounds or outages and developing outages.

Responsibilities

• Attend job face to gather information and develop accurate job scopes.
• Prepare detailed work packages with sequences, resources, materials, and permits.
• Build and maintain master plan for routine maintenance and outages.
• Coordinate with Asset Engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Proven proficiency in CMMS systems, specifically SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Strong scheduling knowledge (MS Project, Primavera P6, Prometheus).
• Familiarity with P&IDs, drawings, permit-to-work, risk assessment, and site safety processes.
• Manage stakeholder relations across multiple functions.
