Job summary

Kingston Barnes is recruiting an EC&I Technician to join a well-established industrial processing and energy generation facility in Exeter. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across instrumentation, control and electrical systems, ensuring plant equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of instrumentation, control and electrical systems.
• Familiar with DCS/SCADA systems and instrumentation.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of plant equipment and control systems.
• Managing calibration activities and maintaining calibration records.
• Working with instrument loop drawings, schematics and P&IDs.
• Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring safe systems of work.
