Key Responsibilities:

• Translate user requirements and technical specifications into concept designs and fully engineered design solutions, working individually or as part of a small team of engineers and designers.
• Plan and execute engineering and design activities.
• Produce technical reports and specifications.
• Generate design substantiation and scoping calculations.
• Conduct site surveys and produce comprehensive survey reports.
• Perform technical reviews and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, adhering to relevant company procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in highly regulated environments, such as nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil & gas, or power generation, is highly desirable.
• Experience in hazardous area environments would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Remote Handling Systems and HAZOPs is advantageous.
• Demonstrable expertise in one or more specific specialist areas relevant to the engineering discipline.
• A proven track record of successful project delivery, including roles involving influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel in defining, implementing, and delivering engineering work packages (role-dependent).
• Possession of some security clearance is ideal.
