Junior EC&I design engineer

The Junior EC&I Design Engineer will report to the designated EC&I discipline lead and/or lead engineer for the project.

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting both Senior and EC&I engineers in delivering design project deliverables, covering the full project lifecycle from concept design to manufacture and commissioning.
2. Producing the required EC&I design documents and drawings in accordance with the standards, procedures, and requirements set by the project under supervision.
3. Having a foundational understanding of some or all EC&I disciplines and the ability to learn and expand knowledge through collaboration and training.

What you can bring

• Minimum qualification: HNC or equivalent in electrical or control engineering or similar.
• Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD design.
• Familiarity with BIM-enabled projects.
• Willingness and ability to spend short periods on customer and supplier sites at various locations.
• Benefits include 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with an additional day off for each year of service capped at 30 days.
• Hybrid working model requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
