Role & Responsibilities:

1. Delivering design project deliverables covering the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
2. Producing EC&I design documents and drawings in accordance with the standards, procedures, and requirements set by the project under supervision.
3. Coordinating, planning, and delivering designs in compliance with the required standards, procedures, and project requirements.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

1. Confidently liaising with external stakeholders and team members, both orally and in writing.
2. Independently seeking or developing solutions to challenging technical questions.
3. Organising one's own time and coordinating with others to meet internal/external deadlines and exceed client expectations.
4. Minimum qualification: HNC or equivalent in electrical or control engineering or similar.
5. At least 5 years of professional engineering/technical experience.
6. Experience interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
7. Previous experience on a nuclear site or other highly regulated environment.
8. Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
9. Familiarity with AutoCAD design.
10. Familiarity with BIM-enabled projects.

Additional Requirements:

SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it.
