Job summary

EQUANS is seeking an Apprentice EC&I Technician at the Huntsman plant in Redcar. You will gain hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of electrical control and instrumentation systems in a CHP environment, under a structured apprenticeship program.

Based at Leeds GSC with possible site rotations, you will work closely with the on-site EC&I technician and a designated mentor to develop practical and academic competencies, building a portfolio and

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics, English, and Science.
• Demonstrated interest in electrical, controls, and instrumentation technologies.
• Commitment to safety and health standards.

Responsibilities

• Apprentice role focusing on development of skills to complete the programme, with mentor support.
• Assist with maintenance, calibration and instrumentation testing under supervision.
• Contribute to installation, commissioning and testing of electrical control systems and sensors.
• Work at Huntsman plant in Redcar and Leeds GSC with potential site rotations within DES portfolio.
