An established industry player is seeking a PFI Contract Manager to oversee a well-established schools contract in Swindon. This role involves managing hard and soft facilities management delivery across multiple schools, ensuring compliance, and enhancing asset data accuracy. With a focus on fostering positive relationships and leading a team of around 90 staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence of the contract. PFI Contract Manager – Schools – Swindon. c£60k – TFM contract.
Following a recent restructure, a PFI Contract Manager role has become available on a well-established schools contract in Swindon. With a hard services bias and reporting into a Senior Contracts Manager, you will have responsibility for overseeing the hard and soft FM delivery across seven schools that have been operational for 18 years.
The contract is in a good place with positive working relationships in place with both the schools and the SPV and there are 8 years left on the contract.
With approximately 90 staff on the contract, direct reports include an Engineering Supervisor with 6 reports, a highly experienced Soft Services Senior FM who manages the larger soft FM team, and a compliance manager.
Initial focus will be around Hard FM and compliance with an ongoing exercise to update and improve the accuracy of the asset data sheets for the schools.
You will preferably have a strong technical background and a good detailed knowledge of PFI contracts.
