Job description

Quality Control Analyst

Location: Cheshire | Salary: £13.79 per hour | Contract Type: Permanent

Our client is a contract manufacturer and packaging company based in the heart of Cheshire. They produce a wide range of toiletries, perfumes, and pet care products tailored to their customers' requirements.

They are looking to add a Quality Control Technician to their busy Quality Department. The role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products, including:

1. Examining finished products against specifications to meet presentation and quality standards
2. Marking up and isolating defective raw materials and finished products
3. Conducting QC tests such as Viscosity and pH on raw materials and finished products
4. Communicating inspection results to relevant production, manufacturing, and quality managers
5. Testing and releasing incoming raw materials and in-house manufactured bulk batches
6. Final product release

Suitable candidates should have a background in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, preferably in a Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Food manufacturing environment. A Science qualification to A-level standard or a relevant degree or equivalent is desirable. Full training will be provided by the company.
