A leading company in care services is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to join their team in Ashton-under-Lyne. Please note: This role is for Nights, working 8-8 over a seven day rota.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to help create personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll maintain high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your tasks may involve showing how to use mobility aids, assisting at end of life, communicating with families, and providing physical and mental stimulation through activities, as well as administering medication.
Another key responsibility is to keep accurate records and build strong team relationships.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or NVQ, and be willing to work towards Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is desirable. However, your positive energy, ability to connect with people, good record-keeping skills, time management, and kindness are essential.
