The Role
- Ensure the working status of the pipeline main line equipment during the project execution and during project preparation, installation, and start-up.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality procedures, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute activities within own responsibility on all Pipeline Technologies Equipment, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
- Perform electrical and mechanical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
- Perform electrical connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets, and other electrical apparatus.
- Read technical drawings and schematics (line diagrams, electrical schemes, hydraulic diagrams) to ensure correct installation and connection of equipment.
- Verify equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions; report anomalies to the pipeline technologies engineer. Ensure proper storage and compatibility of spare parts.
- Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using testing devices to ensure safety and integrity.
- Coordinate with team members, especially during simultaneous operations, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide regular maintenance and repairs of pipeline technologies equipment.
- Install and connect electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment in project areas.
- Install pipeline technologies equipment as per scope provided by the pipeline technologies engineer.
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs that do not require third-party assistance.
- Perform refurbishment operations as needed.
- Follow and understand permit to work procedures.
- Ensure planned maintenance is completed as scheduled and properly documented.
- Implement modifications in line with plans and report them accordingly.
- Participate in ongoing monitoring of pipeline equipment, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency, functionality, and safety.
- Complete all tasks in accordance with HSE policies and standards, ensuring all safety measures are in place.
- Properly preserve pipeline equipment on-site during long standby periods, maintaining readiness.
- Adhere to company internal procedures and regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to process commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Basic knowledge of reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills.
