We have a full-time permanent opening for a Logistics Operative within our Lab Consumables stream for a pharmaceutical client in the Barnard Castle area. The role primarily involves supporting stock management and distribution of lab consumables around the site to kanban areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting stock checks across various Kanban areas and updating the Inventory Management System, including ordering, depleting, and replenishing stock. They will review and receipt incoming stock to ensure accuracy and alignment with orders, apply stock rotation practices, and highlight expired items to relevant owners.
Building relationships with key staff and demonstrating excellent customer service are essential. Flexibility is required to support various logistics team tasks, including duties in the post room and moves team. The candidate must maintain 100% compliance with Mitie Learning and client platforms, and adhere to ALCOA+ principles ensuring all actions are attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original, and accurate.
