Job description

Stockroom Controllers Needed in Newcastle

We are hiring Stockroom Controllers for immediate start in Newcastle.

Employment Types and Hours

• Full-time: 45 hours per week, with lots of overtime available
• Part-time: Up to 20 hours per week

Compensation

Starting pay rates are:

• £18.60 per hour on days
• £23.50 per hour on nights
• £28.50 per hour for overtime and bank holidays worked

Roles are available under PAYE or Self-Employed arrangements. Payments are made weekly on Fridays or monthly, according to your preference.

Job Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries and signing delivery notes or receipts
• Checking goods for damages or missing items
• Unloading goods manually, with trolleys, or forklift trucks
• Storing goods in designated areas
• Maintaining records of goods, typically on a computer
• Conducting regular stock control
• Occasionally selling items to customers
• Picking, weighing, or packing items for dispatch
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
