A leading company in Manchester is seeking a Finance Analyst specializing in Treasury and Securitisation. This role involves supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management while collaborating with various finance teams. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified in CIMA/ACA/ACCA and possess strong analytical skills. The role
We are looking for a Finance Analyst - Treasury and Securitisation to join our Finance team and there has never been a more exciting time to join!
The role will support the Head of Financial Planning Analysis & Treasury in providing clear and effective weekly and monthly reporting and partnering. Working as part of the Finance team to develop the finance function brand across the organisation, as an efficient and professional team that enables commercial growth.
The role also supports the preparation of the monthly management accounts by being a key player in the month end accounting, including debtor book metrics, liquidity and cost management.
What will you do as a Finance Analyst- Treasury and Securitisation at N Brown?
* Responsible for Securitisation financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting, providing quality financial analysis and insightful commentaries to the business.
* Specific responsibly for the production of monthly management accounts for the Financial Services (FS) division and all internal and external documentation relating to the Securitisation facility.
* Ad hoc provision of financial analysis as required to facilitate decision-making and monitoring of financial performance.
* Developing and utilising data to support the production of key performance indicators and to support forecasting, commercial appraisals and audit requests.
* Responsible for completion of the Protiviti audit, then supporting wider team fiancé with preparing for and providing support for audit.
* Preparation and posting of accruals, prepayments and other journals.
* Enhance understanding by ensuring that all stakeholders understand their responsibilities for the overall financial goals of their divisions and the business.
* Treasury
* Support with completion of the daily and weekly reconciliation of the Group's cashflows and bank position
* Support with maintain the weekly cashflow forecast; partnering with FP&A, FS Finance, Group Finance and the Commercial Finance managers to ensure completeness and accuracy of the Group's forecasted cashflows and alignment to the monthly longer term cashflow forecast;
* Support with producing the weekly and monthly treasury reporting, providing explanations on variances against budget and forecasts; supporting with the management of the Group's working capital and unsecured facilities;
* Support with managing the Group's cash liquidity and making decisions over the utilisation of any excess cash.
* Maintain all treasury related documents up to date (examples include bank & loan facilities mandates);
* Act as support contact and build effective working relationships with the Group's banking partners (HSBC / Natwest).
What skills and experience will you have?
* CIMA/ACA/ACCA Part Qualified or above
* Strong problem solving & analytical skills as well as commercial acumen
* Be comfortable working with large data sets
* Naturally inquisitive with a desire to understand, learn, develop and share knowledge
* Confident, clear, and concise communication skills
* Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Power BI is desirable but not essential.
* Experience of Oracle Cloud Financial Systems and TM1 is desirable but not essential
* Experience of data languages and Teradata is desirable but not essential

Ways of Working
We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you're in. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre. So if you are travelling by train, tram or bus we're perfectly located, plus we're surrounded by cool cafes, trendy bars and the best places to eat!
Our working hours are 36.17 per week and our core working hours are between 10am - 4pm. Given we don't have strict working hours you can find the working pattern that's right for you.
