The Peterborough facility has two functional areas: an engineering facility that designs and builds mobile water treatment equipment, and a plant that regenerates ion exchange resin and works with cutting-edge membrane technologies to provide mobile water treatment equipment for customers.
We are a friendly site, big enough to give you a good introduction to the corporate world, but small enough that you will know everyone you work with and understand the importance of building good working relationships.
Design Engineer
The Design Engineer will report to the Global Engineering and Asset Leader and operationally to the Team Leader. You will be responsible for key roles listed below in the Peterborough facility and global asset design engineering. Outgoing and interested in how things work, you will have a natural curiosity that prompts you to explore ways to work smarter, with a service-minded design approach, aiming for faster, better outcomes. This will be reflected in cost savings, smart solutions, quality, and on-time delivery.
Flexible and with great people skills, you won’t mind helping out with other tasks when busy, embracing an ‘all hands’ approach; you will understand early on that our customers matter to us.
You will spend your time across the office environment at the Peterborough site, in the plant/shop floor, with occasional site visits and customer meetings. You will work with our teams and develop your skills and confidence as you progress toward a Project Engineer role.
