Sous Chef Operations - Bromley
Contract: Full Time
Salary: GBP 34,200 to GBP 36,201
Contracted Hours: 45

We burst onto the restaurant scene in 1997, when we shook up London and showed the UK a new way of eating. Part of this was the 'kaiten' conveyor belt and colour-coded dishes which made our name.

We're all about fresh, flavoursome, authentic Japanese food. Sushi is what we're famous for, but we also have a mouth-watering range of hot street food available - from traditional classics to innovative fusion dishes. All packed with rich, aromatic flavours and umami. Today, we have over 70 restaurants worldwide, more than 300 kiosks in the UK, along with grocery products and pre-packaged sushi in major UK supermarkets.

What you will be doing:

The Sous Chef is responsible for delivering a great experience for both our team and guests. You are passionate about our food and will support the entire management team across the restaurant. Your mantra is "Happy teams, Happy guests," and you will instill this ethos within your team.

You will run engaging shifts, interacting with team members and guests, ensuring only the best food is served. You will develop the team to Super Squad status and understand all aspects of the business. You are comfortable working in all kitchen sections, including fish cutting, rice cooking, sushi rolling, and daily kitchen preparations. You will continually strive to improve the food quality and ensure a safe kitchen and restaurant environment for your team and guests.
