Job summary

BAM Nuttall Ltd seeks an experienced Works Manager to lead earthworks on major energy infrastructure projects in the North East of Scotland. You will coordinate site operations, manage subcontractors and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery of complex earthworks packages.

The role focuses on planning, executing and supervising site activities with a strong emphasis on safety culture, team development, and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience overseeing earthworks on major infrastructure or energy projects.
• Must hold valid SMSTS.
• Proven track record as Works Manager on civils projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors, workforce and programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site supervision and weekly team engagement.
• Prioritise Health, Safety, Quality and Wellbeing.
• Promote BAM’s Vision, Values and safe systems of work.
• Manage site supervision, sub-contractors, supply chain and workforce.
