Job summary

BAM Nuttall recruits an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our ASTI onshore team near Inverness. You will craft and manage detailed civil programmes, coordinating with subcontractors, estimators and commercial teams to deliver major energy infrastructure projects.

The role requires 5+ years planning experience, NEC familiarity, and strong P6 skills. You’ll work from Inverness/Kilsyth offices and visit sites as needed, contributing to Scotland’s net-zero ambitions with a robust,

Qualifications

• 5+ years planning experience on civil engineering projects.
• NEC contract experience preferred.
• Civil Engineering/Construction qualification to HND level or equivalent.
• Competent in planning software; Primavera P6 is a must.
• Ability to communicate and manage workload across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed programmes in P6 from first principles including resource loading.
• Integrate subcontractor and supplier programmes with our own.
• Coordinate with estimators and commercial teams on programme aspects.
• Take ownership of the programme to drive project delivery.
• Chair collaborative planning workshops with clients and teams; update progress and reports.
