Job summary

Elvet Recruitment are supporting a North East earthworks and civil engineering contractor in recruiting an experienced Earthworks Engineer. The role concentrates on on-site survey delivery, setting-out QA, and leading survey teams, with projects mainly in the North East and occasional travel further afield.

You will ensure contract requirements are met, prepare risk assessments for survey activities, and guide Assistant Engineering Surveyors.

Qualifications

• Site Engineer level Earthworks experience on Earthworks projects.
• Ability to present and process data.
• CSCS, First Aid and Full Driving Licence.
• Totalstations and Robotic equipment experience.
• Drone surveys/mapping experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of on-site survey information including topographical observations and geospatial monitoring.
• Ensure setting out and QA of works meets contract requirements in a timely manner.
• Management and instruction of Assistant Engineering Surveyors.
• Prepare relevant risk assessments for survey works.
