Job summary

Elvet Recruitment is recruiting a Freelance Civil Site Engineer for a multi-million £ water infrastructure project near Leeds. The role involves setting out, checking works, QA and supervising gangs on site for an initial 12-month term with potential extension.

Requirements: proven heavy civil site engineering experience; setting out and QA; Leica Total Station 16 Robotics (or similar); CSCS card and UK driving license; HNC/HND or Degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as Site Engineer in heavy civil engineering.
• Must be fully confident with both setting out and QA.
• Must have experience with Leica Total Station 16 Robotics (or similar).
• Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree).
• Must hold CSCS card and full UK driving license.

Job description

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Freelance Civil Site Engineer on behalf of a reputable civil engineering contractor to work on an upcoming water infrastructure project near Leeds.

The initial multi-million £ scheme will encompass a wide heavy civils package - including deep drainage, earthworks, re-enforced concrete works, pumping stations, pipework, road construction and groundworks. A key project for Yorkshire Water as part of their AMP8 framework.

Duration: Engineer needed for at least 12 months. Further work across West & South Yorkshire so potential for ongoing extension.

Experience required

Pay

A rate of up to £350 per day (doe).
