Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage offers an undergraduate internship within the Future Programmes & Proposals group. You will join Earth Observation and Science teams to support studies, proposals, and mission concept work across ESA partnerships.

You'll work closely with system engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on exposure to lifecycle activities from requirements analysis to budgeting and documentation, while developing CAD, MATLAB, and Office skills in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics or similar subjects/degrees.
• Interest in working in the space industry.
• Experience from previous or university projects will be a plus.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with CAD, MATLAB or programming may be advantageous.
• Systematic and Analytical mindset; Curiosity and Flexibility.
• Team player; Proficient oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Tasked with Mission & Requirements Analysis and system architecture definition.
• Support budgets, proposals and documentation processes.
