Skills4 Pharmacy in Swindon is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join our busy community pharmacy team. Earn while you learn as you work towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting and serving customers at the counter.

The role includes helping with prescriptions under supervision, stock handling and delivering public health services, with full training and support provided.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
No previous pharmacy experience required; full training is provided.
Interest in healthcare and helping people.

Responsibilities

Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
