Job summary
Skills4Group in Oxenhope is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community team. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, assist customers at the medicines counter and help with processing prescriptions under supervision.
The role includes completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training provided. No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided and you will gain a nationally recognised qualification while
Qualifications
- GCSEs in Maths and English are preferred.
- Willingness to complete Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.
- No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
- Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
- Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
- Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
