Job summary

Skills4Group in Oxford is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day‑to‑day operations, assist customers at the medicines counter, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

The role offers blended learning with on‑the‑job training over typically 15 months, Monday to Friday 9-5, with no prior pharmacy experience required. Start date is 02/11/2026 in an environment that values learning and patient care.

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship training with blended learning is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries.
• Helping with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
